Frequently asked Questions

How long before my wedding should I start my wedding dress search?

We recommend at least 12-18 months prior to your wedding date to start your dress search?  This may sound like a long time, but remember you have to find your dress, it has to arrive and you will need alterations.

Your wedding dress is made to order and can take between 4 and 6 months to arrive - depending on the designer, please your alterations can take a couple of months to complete.  Suddenly, the timescale is eaten up and your wedding day is just around the corner

How do I pay for my dress

To order your dress in from the Designer, we request 50% of the purchase price to commence the process.  From here, we are happy to arrange an individual payment plan to allow you to budget for your wedding.

So don't feel that you need the full amount of the dress cost before you visit.

Are there any hidden extras to pay?

We endeavour to make everything as clear as possible at your consultation.  We don't charge for your dress bag, hanger or even storage - this is all part of our service.

You will, however, have to pay for any alterations to make your dress perfect.  The only other thing is a hoop - should you need one.  Although they can be purchased from us, we also offer a hire service for less than half the price.

What should I wear to my Consultation?

There is no specific item required apart from a pair of briefs.  Feel free to wear a strapless bra, but don't worry too much about it, chances are it will not be required.

Please bring a pair of shoes with you in the sort of height you will be wearing on your wedding day.  Again, not essential as we have pair to try in the shop, but it does help with getting a feel for how the dress will be on your wedding day.
