My experience with Lindsay at Anne Whittakers was amazing everything I ever dreamed of when picking my dress. The support and professionalism that was shown from the minute I stepped foot through the door to my wedding day was incredible. Lindsay made me feel as ease, made me feel incredible about myself and contributed in finding my perfect dress. She advised me throughout and bent over backwards with appointments to make sure everything was perfect for me on the day. I would 100% recommended Anne Whittakers. Absolutely amazing and personal experience from start to finish. This was the first bridal shop I went into and my perfect dress was the first one I tried on, I felt like a million dollars! At every appointment I was made to feel extremely special and I couldn’t have wished for more! Thankyou so much for making my big day so wonderful!

Can’t recommend Lindsay enough! From the very first fitting, she was so helpful and really listened to what I liked and didn’t like in a dress. She gave great advice and clearly knows her stuff, which made the whole process much easier.

I actually found the dress at her shop but still went to a few more places afterwards—nothing compared. I couldn’t stop thinking about it, so I went back, and I’m so glad I did!

Lindsay was brilliant with appointments and super flexible—nothing was ever too much trouble. I even went in for a fitting after having my hair and makeup trial done, which was really special.

She also worked so well with Kellie who did the alterations—the dress ended up fitting perfectly and looked amazing.

Such a great experience from start to finish. Would definitely recommend to any bride-to-be!

I looked around a few bridal shops before this one and none of them made me feel like she did. Lindsay made me feel at ease as soon as I met her I knew I was in the right place.   I’m usually quite picky when it comes to clothing but she knew exactly what I was looking for.

I had a lovely experience from start to finish! I know it doesn’t happen for everyone, but Anne Whittaker’s was the first and only bridal shop I went too and I found my dream dress!
Lindsay was amazing! I went in knowing I wanted sleeves and a V shape neck line, but that was about it! I’m not much of a dress person, so I dreaded trying to find one I could spend our wedding day in and still be comfortable, but Lindsey took it in stride and started going through options.
I tried on so many dresses I lost count. Each time we talked about how I felt in the dress, how it sat, if it worked for me etc. I really valued her opinions and honesty, so when she suggested I tried on the first dress again, I did.
I’d liked the dress; it had the V neckline, lace, a little sparkle, and I loved how it fit. I even really liked the train which is not something I thought I would want on a dress. The only thing I didn’t like were the sleeves. This was no problem for Lindsay.
Once she got me back in the dress, she came out with tester sleeves, slipped them over the existing ones and something in my brain just clicked. I was no longer just wearing A wedding dress, I was wearing MY wedding dress.
It seems like it was such a simple thing to change to make it me, but without Lindsay taking that time to get to know me and what I was comfortable with, I doubt I would have found a dress I was truly comfortable in.
Even after my first appointment, everything was amazing. From trying the dress after my tester hair session, booking in alterations (especially after the Christmas period), adding lace from the original sleeves to the new ones and to even carrying my dress to the car, I cannot fault them!
I cannot be more grateful for bringing such joy to the area I was most anxious about. My dress was perfect in every way and that all thanks you guys!!
